[…]In one of our previous conversations I understood you have something like a "wishlist" you transfer to the dev' team, with new functions that may be helpful. Well, here is my list, I tried to explain why every feature would be really helpful to me. As a reminder, I'm a med student working almost exclusively on my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro.

1. Two page view. I know this one comes up often, but especially on a big screen like the iPad Pro's it's great to take full advantage of it. I like to see many details of my PDFs when I first work on them, highlighting, adding notes etc. But when I'm actually studying them, I like to see as many information as possible at once. Until now this is limited to one A4 page, or two PowerPoint slides. Hey, guys, I think this could be better !

2. Customizable tool bar. Nearly every student I know uses a color code when he or she is highlighting a text. Blue for definitions, red for drug names, green the doses, orange the indications, violet the contra indications, purple complications, dark blue exams you have to settle up, red the really important stuff,... see, this list is quite long, and it would be really great to be able to customize the toolbar I see all the time when I'm working. Right now I have to make a really long pressure to open the color menu, a second to choose my color - sometimes just to highlight one or two things, and redoing the whole procedure. Wouldn't it be greater if I could just add as many tools I need in the toolbar ? Productivity just a quick click away ? Or just replace stuff I really don't need often to boost my productivity with tools I use all the time !

3. More colors. I already talked about the importance of a "color code" for students. Right now we're limited to "only" 18 colors (15 if we're not counting black, white, and grey..). Would it be possible to add a color wheel or something, a bit like in your macOS version ?

4. Make indexing PDFs even better. On macOS, this is so easy. Just select the text on the page, right click, "add to plan", and stuff is done. On iOS this is quite hard, as I have to open the menu when I'm on the page I want to index (this can be not as easy as it sounds with PDFs made from PowerPoint slides, by the way), index the page, add a title by hand, or had to copy-paste the text before opening the menu. See what I mean ?

5. Recognize what I draw. What if I could just hand-draw a line with the pencil (ugly, as always), hold it for a second when done, and it would just have become a strait line ? Or draw a circle with my hand, hold it a second, and it becomes a perfect round ? Same for rectangular forms or arrows. This would even allow to creat a free space in the toolbar, which would be useful for point 2. Wouldn't that be great ? I think that would be great.

6. Integrate the iOS 11 document browser. Allowing to pick even quicker the document I need, but which is not yet in my PDF Expert iCloud folder.

7. Long tap on the icon opens a "last opened" window. This would be the last thing I'd add to my list, and unfortunately I have no idea how this function brought with iOS 11 is called. Apple's native apps "files" and "iBooks" do support it, and some other apps like Notability or PDF Viewer also do. Will PDF Expert to so too ?[…]
