<br>16:17 - Sony to launch rival to Apple&rsquo;s iPod Shuffle digital player worldwide in April

<br>BERLIN (AFX) - Sony Corp said it will launch a digital player to compete with Apple&rsquo;s iPod Shuffle worldwide in April.
<br>
<br>The Sony gadget will have a flash memory. Shuffle is Apple&rsquo;s pared-down version of its iPod.
<br>
<br>
<br>Sony&rsquo;s product will have memory capacity of 256 megabytes, 512 megabytes or 1 gigabyte. The 1 gigabyte version will have capacity for 700 songs or 45 CDs. Unlike the iPod Shuffle, Sony&rsquo;s device will have a screen.

<br>The gadget will have SonicStage 3.0 software to manage MP3 files and give remote access to Sony&rsquo;s "Connect" downloading site.

<br>Sony said last month that it will release a product with a hard disc drive by the end of the year to compete with Apple&rsquo;s main iPod player.

so ganz ohne Quellenangabe? wer weiss denn welchem PR Geilen Typ da wieder ein Mikrophon unter die Nase gehalten wurde; bekanntermaßen wird dann gern erzählt, berichtet und "brandaktuelle News" verbreitet... was dran ist? Meist wenig!
<br>Davon ab, las man hier auf MTN schon Statements von Apple zu Sony, das man sehr wohl konstruktiv zusammenarbeiten möchte ohne Auszuschließen, das natürlich auch jeder sein eigenes Geschäft voran bringt... Ist im übrigen in der gesamten Geschäftswelt so, erst Recht unter "Kollegen"
