Ich glaube, ich sollte mal öfters in die Konsole schauen, momentan spielt sich da ständig das gleiche ab:

Kann mir jemand sagen, was da passiert, bzw. wie ich das endlich beenden oder in den Griff bekommen kann? Macht das ganze evt. sogar den Mac langsamer? Besten Dank im Voraus!

I fixed this by:
Opening Directory Utility.
Click padlock and authenticate.
Click Show Advanced settings.
Click Services in the title bar.
Select BSD Flat File and NIS.
Click the pencil (above the padlock).
Enter (without the quotes): "local." in the Domain name field.
Click OK.
Click Apply.
The Console messages then stopped coming out.

EDIT Actually, this only changed the message to: YP server for domain local. not responding, still trying

Jaguar1: Also diese Antwort scheint ja nicht zu klappen, wie im Edit steht. Aber unter deinem Link habe ich mir andere Beiträge angesehen und einen Weg gefunden, das ganze zu stoppen, Danke!

Einfach die Datei:
/etc/defaultdomain
löschen.

Ich hab mir vorher noch ne Kopie auf den Desktop gemacht, aber laut Textedit ist die Datei sowieso leer, und die Konsole gibt sofort darauf Ruhe. (weiteres auf Jaguar1s Link: ) Hat sonst jemand diese Datei?

Ich frage mich, wie lange das schon so geht? Kann mir aber kaum vorstellen, dass ich seit dem Installieren von 10.5 nicht 1x in die Konsole geschaut habe. Alleine schon wegen den Crashlogs war ich schon öfters dort...
Falls noch jemand was dazu zu sagen hat, lass ich den Thread noch ein bisschen offen. (auch wenn es scheinbar gelöst ist)

Hmmm also bei mir ist das seit einem iTunes Crash so. Allersings hört das bei auch nicht mehr auf. Hab obiges versucht...

Mr. Pink: Was hast du versucht? Diesen Tipp von "mert", der laut Edit gar nicht funktioniert, oder hast du die /etc/defaultdomain gelöscht?
