ah. mal testen.

nett ist das Status Icon in der Menüleiste. doof nur, dass die Appl dazu wirklich laufen muss. also nicht so wie zB iChat, welches startet wenn es dann benötigt wird.

Seit der letzten Version (1.3.x?) von Skype nutzte ich lieber Gizmo.



Skype war bei mir mit der Version 1.3.x plötzlich extrem resourcen-hungrig (der Lüfter des 15" PB ging immer superschnell an und dann macht VOIP für die Gegenstelle nicht wirklich Spaß, zumindest wenn man wie ich kein externes Mikro nutzen kann sondern auf das interne angewiesen ist).

Vielleicht wird das ja mit der neuen 1.4.x wieder besser?

Übrigens: Skype wird ab Version 2.0 auch Videotelefonie unterstützen:

Wieso sieht man die nicht? Achso - meinst Du, weil die im Call-SubMenu sind und nicht direkt im Skype Menü. ok.

finde auch das das bei ichat besser ist. da kann man wenigstens das ganze über die menubar bedienen!

was mich aber noch beim status in der menuleiste von skype nicht überzeugt, ist das man die leute die online sind nicht sofort sieht! das ist bei dem tool für skype SkypeMenuX, besser gemacht!

ja genau so habe ich es gemeint ! also skypemenux gibt es schon eine weile für skype, ist auch so ein tool für die menubar!
