Ich habe mal wieder GarageBand installiert, weil ich seid dem Absturz meine Instrumenten-library nicht mehr hatte und keinen Platz dafür da war. Jedefalls hab ich dann einfach das ganze iLife 04 installiert, da kommt ja alles mit. Hat auch alles geklappt.


NUR: Wenn ich GarageBand starte, initalisiert er zuerst ein paar Sekunden (ganz normal) dann kommt eine Meldung, dass Garage-Band unerwartet geschlossen wurde. Das Program bleibt aber offen und initialisiert weiter....ewig.

Was soll ich tun? Hab schon alles auf der Platte gesucht, was garageBand drinn hat und geloscht (Preferenzen etc) und nochmals installiert, leider ohne Erfolg!


Kann jemand helfen? Ich will nicht das ganze OS neu installieren wegen GarageBand.

nachdem ich den Crash-Report durchgelesen hatte kam ih auf die Idee, dass ein Plugin das problem sein könnte...so ein Demo eines VST-Plugins.

BINGO! Jetzt gehts, trotzdem danke!

Darauf hätte ich jetzt auch getippt; war nur zu laaaangsaaam

Hatte das selbe problem mit ilife 05. Garageband hat automatisch den song geladen den ich als letztes bearbeitet habe ,ohne den Dialog am Anfang ob man ein neues Projekt öffnen will oder ein vorhandenes. Es hatt dann alles schön initialisiert und als der Balken voll war ist es immer bei Eaqualizer hängengeblieben und dann ging garnix mehr , kein apfel,alt,esc kein sofort beenden und auch in der aktivitätsanzeige ließ sich Garageband nicht wirklich beenden , es wurde zwar angezeigt das der prozess beendet wäre aber nach nochmaligem öffnen des Programme sofort beenden Fensters stands wieder drin . Der Pfeil der im Dock die aktivität eines Programms anzeigt ging auch einfach nicht aus.

So sah meine Lösung aus:
Also ich dachte mir erst mal neu installieren ( Garageband ) dann ist bestimmt alles wieder in Butter. Tja Scheiße wars das neu installierte Garage Band verhielt sich genau so wie das alte . Als das nach mehrmaligem probieren nicht gefunzt hat hab ich mir mal die Einträge der Console mal genauer angeschaut und bin auf Crash Reports einer Rewire.DLL gestoßen der von der Uhrzeit genau auf die Hänger und abstüre von Garageband gepasst haben. Nun wusste ich aber noch nichts damit anzufangen dann hab ich mal ein bisschen ge google t und hab herausgefunden das dieses Rewire eine art interface ist damit verschiedene Musik Programme (Reason,Cubase,Garageband usw.) die Instrumente des jeweils anderen Programms nutzen können.
OK ich hatte noch aus Jaguars Zeiten eine Demoversion von Reason installiert diese hab ich nun auch mal gelöscht und dann wieder installiert und danach Garageband.Mit dem selben ergebnis wie oben beschrieben (funzt nicht).
Also dachte ich mir scheiß auf die paar song hauptsache Garageband Funktioniert wieder, und hab mir dann alle songs mit der endung:.band anzeigen lassen und hab diese nach und nach gelöscht und als der letzte gelöscht war dann startete Garageband wieder ganz normal mit dem gewohnten Dialog ob man ein neues oder ein vorhandenes projekt öffnen möchte.
Als das wieder gefunzt hat hab ich das alte Reason demo trotzdem gelöscht weil es wohl auch deswegen einen konflikt zwischen Reason demo und GarageBand gab nun funktioniert alles wieder wie gewohnt ohner crash Report von Rewire.dll

Hört sich alles etwas abenteuerlich an ,aber das war mein erlebnis mit GarageBand
Vieleicht kann ja jemand ja aus meiner Story für sich einen Lösungsweg ableiten. Viel Glück
