Ja, da hat Shapeshifter mal wieder ganze Arbeit geleistet! Vielleicht sollten wir mal eine Liste von "nicht empfehlenswerten Programmen" machen.

Habe einen neuen Benutzer angelegt ! Konnte so ein backup machen und nun alles wieder in Ordnung bringen.

Du hast auf den Schreibtisch des anderen Users zugegriffen? Das geht nur mir root-Rechten. Also per sudo oder wie?

Die Rechte ich habe über das Informationsfenster verändert

erste Hilfe schon drüber laufen lassen?

Ich hab den ApplicationEnhancer mit vielen Modulen schon seit Jahren ohne Probleme laufen. Ich hab hier gerade 8 aktive AE-Erweiterungen.

Die "Probleme", die ich bisher hatte, waren bisher kosmetischer Natur. Z.B. muss ich bei Slider Programme ausschliessen, die sich selbst sanft ein-/ausblenden wollen (derzeit bei mir: Growl, QuickSilver, Witchdaemon, xACT).

Der Finder ist nirgendwo auf der Ausschluss-Liste und er läuft dennoch so (schlecht) wie sonst. Ja, ich hab den Finder auch mal eine ganze Weile ohne installierten AE betrieben. Der Finder kann sich wunderbar selbst im Weg rumstehen.

Den ShapeShifter benutze ich seit langem nicht mehr, weil ich mich irgendwann doch immer für das original (+ Unifier) entscheide. Ich hatte damit aber nie Probleme gehabt (ausser wieder kosmetische, meist bei 3rd-Party-Symbolen, aber auch bei Apple-Eigenen).

Besteht das Problem auch, wenn du einen neuen Benutzer einrichtest? Versuch das mal. Dann kann man schon mal eingrenzen, wo das Problem verursacht wird.

Vorher würde ich aber noch die Prefs vom Finder wegwerfen. Die Prefs würde ich in solchen Fällen immer erstmal aus dem Preferences-Ordner entfernen. Dabei sollte das betreffende Programm aber nicht laufen, da es beim Beenden seine (möglicherweise fehlerhaften) Einstellungen speichert.

rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

Dann den Finder nochmal starten. Neu einloggen brauchst du dich dafür nicht.
