More on flashing DVR-117D drives to DVR-108 firmware - Yesterday's news had a post on a LOGITEC hosted OS X GUI flasher (w/1.18 DVR-108 firmware file) that -one- DVR-117D owner said he used to flash the drive successfully to a DVR-108. However several other DVR-117D owners wrote the flasher didn't recognize their drives. (Not sure why unless there's something different in the firmware/ID of some 117D drives). Two readers sent a link to another source of info on flashing a 117D drive to 108 firmware at - look at the steps near the bottom of the page posts, then go to page 2 of the thread for more info and corrections to some instructions. (I don't own a 117D drive personally.)
