Seit einiger Zeit (seit wann kann ich nicht definieren) braucht Aperture gut 1 Minute zum Start/beim Start, es dreht sich der bunte Ball. Danach gehrt das Arbeiten problemlos.
iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)

Zwischendurch taucht immer wieder mal das auf:

Hast Du schon mal versucht, die Library zu reparieren (alt-cmd und dann auf das Aperture Symbol klicken)? Ich hatte das auch, nach der Reparatur läuft alles wieder.

Hat wohl ein Problem mit dem dem iCloud Photostream.
Deaktiviere den mal in den Systemeinstellungen und starte anschliessend Aperture.
