Jedenfalls: Der Bug, den es seit der UB-Version von Warcraft 3 gibt, ist folgender (hier schon mal auf Englisch vorformuliert, wie ich ihn eigentlich ins Forum schreiben wollte...):

Still with the latest patches, there are sound issues when running the UB version of Warcraft 3 on Intel Macs.

I mean, the music always interrupts on cinematic scenes in campaigns and it doesn't loop anymore when playing normal games. Once the music finishes, the game continues with sound effects, voices, but without music track.

So...das könnt ihr 1.) sicherlich bestätigen.
2.) Wisst Ihr, wie man Blizzard nun darauf aufmerksam machen kann?

Hey, das Problem habe ich seit dem letzten Update bei Warcraft3 Frozen Throne auch! Ist aber schon eine Weile her . . . .
Zwar ohne Störungen o.ä. aber die Musi hört einfach auf - erst nach einem Neustart geht es wieder.

Na siehst du...
Oder eben, dass man eine Kampagne spielt...und in einer Zwischensequenz eine ganz dramatische Musik spielt, die dann auf einmal *knack* aufhört und dann was völlig unpassendes anfängt, zu spielen...

Und ich werde das Spiel mal nach dem Patch probieren...aber in den Patchnotes steht nix von Sound issues corrected...
Also...ich gehe erstmal davon aus, dass da noch nix getan wurde...

Sie erwähnen, daß Patches bei Intel-Macs vorher nicht wirkten oder so.

Hmm nee, das Problem besteht immer noch.

Ihr könnt das ganz einfach selbst nachvollziehen, wenn ihr Warcraft 3 auf einem Intel-Mac einmal normal startet (das Universal Binary). Dort treten die Probleme, wie beschrieben, auf.
Danach rechtsklickt einfach mal auf dem Warcraft 3 UB und geht auf "Paketinhalt anzeigen", dann in "Contents""Resources".
Dort findet Ihr eine alte Carbon-Version des Spiels (ohne richtiges Icon).
Einfach doppelklicken und das Spiel startet im PowerPC-Modus.
Dort treten die Probleme nämlich auf einmal nicht mehr auf!

Dear Blizzard support team,

Still with the latest patches, there are sound issues when running the Universal Binary version of Warcraft 3 on Intel Macs.

I mean, the music always interrupts on cinematic scenes in campaigns and some other sound track suddenly starts to play.
Like if there is a cut scene with dramatic music, it suddenly interrupts and some other, most often very unsuitable soundtrack begins to play.

Second symptom is that the music doesn't loop anymore when playing normal games. Once the music finishes, the game continues with sound effects, voices, but without music track. (As I am writing this, I just noticed that you can test that by just starting the game and leaving the main menu open.)
Now the soundtrack has finished and only the sound effects can still be heard. (Like thunder and arrow shoots on WC3 ROC)

I am sure that has something to do with the Universal Binary, because if you start the game in Rosetta mode, hence the PPC-version,
you won't experience any of my described sound problems.

I would be glad if you could consider this to be fixed by the next patch.

Nachtrag: Ihr müsst natürlich nicht den Umweg gehen, den ich vorhin beschrieben habe, um das Spiel im PPC-Modus zu starten. Das kann man natürlich auch einfach, indem man in der Finder-Info von Warcraft 3 den Haken bei "Mit Hilfe von Rosetta öffnen" setzt.
