1) Easier to merge libraries - he actually called them catalogues and you can export images or a subset of images as a catalogue and they should merge seamlessly with existing libraries. He didn't get into too much detail but looked like it solved a lot of the issues with merging separate databases from different computers.

2) Sharpening - Tool now has amount, radius, detail and masking. Only viewable at 1:1 but definitely at least as good as USM.

3) Clarity Slider - In addition to Saturation and Vibrance, there is a slider called "clarity". This looked really neat. It might have something to do with saturation but he described it as a large radius unsharp mask like thing and it looked like it really worked well on the image he showed us.

4) Can categorize presets now in every module.

5) You can edit your metadata presets instead of having to redo the whole thing if you made a mistake or wanted to change something.

6) Spraypaint can - They got rid of the keyword stamper but added this tool. This is like the stamper but you can just "spray" or apply it to a number of images very easily. And you can choose to spray a number of things such as keywords, flags, rotations, etc..

These were the main things he told us about. Again, no concrete date but sounds like it'll be very soon and will be a free upgrade.

Es tut sich was

Here’s a quick rundown of what Tom showed the crowd:

He showed how you can now easily export one library of photos (now called “catalogs”) and import that catalog into an existing library (perfect for people who work on a laptop on location, then need to merge these photos with their desktop studio machine).
The “Keyword Stamper” has evolved into a much more useful tool, which now lets “Spray” (rather than individually stamping, so it’s much faster), anything from keywords to Develop settings, or rotation settings. This totally wow’d everybody when they saw it in action.
Version 1.1 brings order to your presets and templates as these sections now have folders, so you can easily separate your custom presets and imported presets and templates from the default sets.
But the big, big hit of his presentation was definitely the new Sharpening panel, which pretty much blew everybody away, especially when used with the new Clarity control. This brought cheers from the crowd, which were only matched by Tom’s announcement that Adobe was making this update available for free!!! (we don’t have an official release date, other than “it’s coming soon”).
