Du kannst Dir ja mal "man diskutil" (sudo diskutil resizeVolume ...) ansehen. Im Terminal ohne Netz und doppelten Boden! sudo diskutil http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Triple_Boot_via_BootCamp Aber Parallels ist schon OK, wenn man keinen 3D Kram braucht!

Hallo leute! ich hab ein problem. Unswar hab ich ne exe datei. Die funzt natürlich nicht auf mein intel mac. Und gibts da Programme für? Kann mir jemadn helfen? ich hab mal gehört es gibt cross over oder so.

Was für eine EXE?
Selbstenpackende ZIP-Archive kann man mit Stuff-it entpacken.

Ansonsten ist wohl eine Windows-Installation (XP oder 2k) nötig.
Entweder mit Parallels (z.B. als Testversion) oder durch Verwendung von Bootcamp.

ok, mal zurück zum ursprungs-thema: wenn ich boot camp bitte, die nutzlose ex-windows partition wieder mit der osx-partition zusammenzulegen, kommt ebenfalls diese nachricht. ich nehme mal an, boot camp ist verwirrt weil ich auf der partition nach windows noch ein paar andere betriebsysteme ausprobiert habe. nun empfielt mir dieter die lektüre von "man diskutil", nur leider ist die man seite auf dem stand von januar 03 und hat nichts zur option resizeVolume zu sagen. irgendwelche tipps? oder liegt das schlicht daran, dass ich gerade an einem ppc-mac sitze und die ppc-varainte von diskutil diese funktion nicht hat?

ok, man page hilft zwar nicht weiter, aber bei eingabe ohne argumente kommt das hier:

ich monologisiere mal etwa weiter:

woher soll man das wissen, wenn es keine aktuellen man pages gibt?
und was auch hier nicht erwähnt wird: wenn das dateiystem der ersten partition jhfs+ ist, wird dieses wohl über die folgenden erstreckt, wenn man kein neues angibt: to combine partitions.

"If the first partition you are merging is JHFS+, then
merge will resize it over the other partitions. If the first partition isn't JHFS+,

also in meinem fall wohl:
sudo diskutil mergePartitions disk1s3 disk1s5

oder so ähnlich.

Machs Dir doch einfacher:
Clone die erste Partition auf eine externe Platte und formatiere die interne und clone das ganze wieder zurück.

das wird wohl im ergebnis das einzig sinnvolle sein, und ein backup würde ich ja sicherheitshalber eh machen. vor allem scheint diskutil laut diverser foreneinträge sofort probleme zu machen, wenn die partitionsstruktur etwas aus dem rahmen fällt. ich hätte nur gerne mal gewußt, wie und ob es geht und wo eigentlich genau das problem ist. aber wenn selbst google "diskutil mergepartitions" noch nie gehört hat, soll ich das wohl auch noch gar nicht wissen.
