habe folgendes Problem.....komme seit längere zeit nicht ins IRC (Fehler Meldung IDENT) sagt mir das iRC Programm mein ISP ist T-Online ich benutze die MacOS X 10.2.6 und mein IRC software heisst iRC mein system hängt an ein AirPort Extreme Station.....kann mir jemand vielleicht sagen wieso ich nicht ins netz reinkomme was muss ich tun das ich wieder ins IRC reinkomme.

Läuft IRC nicht auf einem eigenen Port, den müsstest du dann an der Station weiterleiten auf deinen Mac.

Step 1.

Open your Terminal application. (Found in the Utilities folder inside your Applications folder)

type

sudo pico /etc/inetd.conf <return key>
enter the root password (your normal password).

you are now editing the inetd.conf file with the pico editor as 'root', the administrator.

the objective is to change the line:

#identd stream tcp wait root /usr/libexec/tcpd identd -w -t120
or
#auth stream tcp wait root /usr/libexec/tcpd identd -w -t120

to:

auth stream tcp wait root /usr/libexec/tcpd identd -w -t120

Use the cursor or the cntl-v/cntl-y keys to move through the document. The line you want is probably at the very bottom.

Cursor over the "#identd" part and backspace until it is gone. Then enter "auth" in this space. Use control-O to save the file. Confirm that the name of the file is inetd.conf and hit enter. Control-X leaves the application.

When your inetd.conf does not happen to have a line with #auth or #identd, you can simply insert it somewhere in the file.

insert:

auth stream tcp wait root /usr/libexec/tcpd identd -w -t120



Step 2.

Restart your Mac.

ich habe das hier gemacht:

2.) Terminal öffnen
3.) "sudo pico /etc/inetd.conf" eingeben
4.) root passwort eingeben
5.) In dem Editor ganz nach unten gehen (Pfeiltaste)
6.) die Raute vor dem "auth stream tcp ...." löschen
7.) crtl+x
8.) y
9.) ENTER
10.) Rechner neu starten.

ist doch das gleiche oder?
aber irgend wie will der nicht laufen! muss die Ports ins Router eintragen?

Ich denke schon das du die Port im Router eintragen musst, ansonsten weiss der Router nicht wo er denn die Daten hinschicken soll.

Ist mit Sicherheit ein Routerproblem, wie rofl sagt.

nur was muss ich im Router eintragen? welche Port/IP das ist ja mein Problem!
