Der sichtbare Unterschied zwischen 12 und 14 Bit ist wirklich äußerst gering. Er macht sich vor allem in feinsten Farbabstufungen, bosonders in sehr dunklen und sehr hellen Bereichen bemerkbar.

Für Normaluser ist der Unterschied wohl unerheblich. Mich wundert nur, dass Nikon trotz Expeed-Prozessor, den sie ja auch in der D300 und D3 verwenden, diese Option in der D90 weglässt. Möglicherweise ist die sonstige Signalverarbeitung (da steckt ja mehr als nur der Hauptprozessor drin) dafür nicht schnell genug. Die D300 wird ja beispielsweise im 14-Bit-Modus erheblich langsamer und schafft nur noch 2,5 Bilder/s.

In dem Punkt scheint die Canon-Signalverarbeitung insgesamt deutlich flotter zu sein. Sowohl die 40D, als auch die neue 50D bietet ja nur noch 14 Bit bei voller Geschwindigkeit.

Gibt es denn schon Infos zu dem GP-1 GPS? Wie wird der angeschlossen. Hat die D90 auch den 10-Pin Connector oder wird das GP-1 GPS über USB angeschlossen?!

Nein, aber wie ich gerade gelesen habe, führt Nikon bei der D90 einen Accesories Shoe ein, aber das GP-1 GPS kann mittels Adapterkabel auch an den 10-Pol-Anschluss von D200, D300 und D3 etc. angeschlossen werden. Ist die Frage, was das GPS-Modul kostet. Könnte interessant sein.

Genaue Informationen zum GP-1 gibt es noch nicht.
Anfrage nach Preis und Verfügbarkeit läuft.

Könnte mir auch gefallen - aber ich habe mir kürzlich ne D80 gekauft -

Aber man muss ja auch nicht immer das Neueste haben. Erst mal macht der Etat das nicht mit,
und dann kommt man ja vor lauter Manuals reinpfeifen kaum noch zum Fotografieren.

Ich hab auch noch eine D200, möchte aber im Herbst auf eine D700 umsteigen.
Aber eine Filmmöglichkeit an einer DSLR hat was für sich.

Hab ein Bild gefunden, wie das GP-1 GPS an die D90 angeschlossen wird. Es gibt tatsächlich einen extra Anschluss dafür. Im Lieferumfang ist aber auch ein Adapterkabel auf den 10-poöigen Anschluss zum Anschluss z.B. an die D300.
Der unterste Anshluss ist es.
