hallo allerseits
hab seit kurzem eine handliche sony harddisc-kamera (DCR-SR200E) ohne firewire-anschluss. kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich meine aufzeichnungen nun ins imovie importieren kann?

das quicktime-mpeg2-plugin von apple hab ich bereits installiert, jetzt kann ich die filme ins iphoto oder auf den schreibtisch importieren aber nur ohne ton.

I own the same camera (a recent present from the in-laws), and in my limited experience, the ffmpegX conversion software, available at has worked well to convert those mpeg-4's to a more usable file format (i've gone to DV). I haven't done a ton of comparison to see how the conversion quality is, so I'd advise you to experiment a bit and see what works best, but you can at least get your video in a usable state that way.

thank you for your reply. I see that I must use Streamclip and convert to .dv therefore losing some video quality (the mpeg2 original looks definitely sharper). "


also es sieht so aus als wenn man das mpeg2 material am besten zu .dv umkodiert und dann damit arbeitet...

vielen dank für den tipp. streamclip funktioniert einfach und einwandfrei.hab bis jetzt noch keine qualitätseinbussen festgestellt.
