seit einiger zeit gibt es nach dem beenden von allen! (wirklich allen auch "systemeinstellungen") programmen die meldung "xyz wurde unerwartet beendet".
es gibt ansonsten nicht den kleinsten hänger im system. habe auch schon alle möglichen tools angewendet (z.b. onyx, disk warrior, drive genius, techtool pro...) aber es ist nicht der kleinste fehler zu finden.

was kann das sein?

der rechner hängt nicht im net und wird ausschließlich zur audiobearbeitung eingesetzt.

Könnte mit dem Ram zu tun haben. Versuchs mal mit nur einem Riegel.

Ansonsten mal das 10.3.9-Combo-Update nochmals drüber installlieren.

Öffne mal testweise mehrere Programme gleichzeitig. Dieser "Test" wurde bei meinem Rechner durchgeführt (möglicherweise fehlerhafter Ram - ist derzeit in Reperatur)-ca. 5 Programme wurden geöffnet und dann hat er sich "aufgehängt". Fehlerhafter Ram soll aber eigentlich sehr selten sein...hat man mir zumindest gesagt. Was hast Du für einen Rechner?

Dual 1Ghz G4, ist eigentlich ein Quicksilver, der mit ner original Apple-Karte auf Dual umgebaut wurde.

ist auch egal wie groß das programm ist. es betrifft alle von textedit bis hin zu Logic Pro.

weil.... defekter RAM kann ich mir ehrlich gesagt nicht so richtig vorstellen. die se symptome erscheinen mir dafür zu banal.
ich vermute, es ist eher irgendein softwarebestandteil.... leider kann ich mit dem fachchinesisch der logs auch nicht wirklich was anfangen.

Bevor Du lange suchst:
Image deiner Boot-partition machen und sichern.
Rechner neu installieren und Benutzeraccount inkl. Software vom Image übertragen.
Zwei Stunden späte wird alles wieder laufen.

Tip nicht daß ich da angst vor habe..aber ich glaube das ist, mit knonen auf spatzen zu schießen.

Mache diese Beobachtung nur bei einigen Programmen, und nur gelegentlich:
iCab, wenn viele Fenster und Tabs geladen, und das Taxi beendet wird.
StuffIt 10.0 nach Ent- oder Verpacken, immer.

Da praktisch unrelevant, so kümmere ich mich nicht weiter darum.

Ich hab da eine Vermutung: Wie sieht es denn aus, wenn du Voreinstellungen veränderst in den verschiedenen Programmen und die Programme dann neu öffnest? Bleiben die Einstellungen oder nicht?

Bei mir ist schon längere Zeit Spotlight hinüber, und ich habe keinen Schimmer mehr, hab schon alles probiert, auch die Laufwerksstruktur erfolgreich von einem kleinen Fehler befreit, die Indexe mehrmals wieder gelöscht, Indizierung an/aus, etc. alles ohne Veränderung. Es gibt nur ständig mds-crash-state auf der HD und in den Logs steht auch ständig von Spotlight Crashes drin.

Probleme mit dem RAM muss man sich nicht vorstellen. Die kann man ganz einfach mit dem Programm Rember ausschließen.

…oder mit Memtest, was mir mal empfohlen wurde.

Wichtig zu wissen:
Der Test, auf jeden Fall mit Memtest, dauert sehr lange und man kann parallel auch nicht mit dem Mac arbeiten, da das Ganze im SingleUser-Mode läuft.

Daher: zur passenden Zeit laufen lassen.

ram scheidet meines erachtens aus.
am selben rechner läift ein von der externen HD gestartetes tiger einwandfrei.

ich bin heute leider nicht am platz...erst morgen wieder-sieht sich denn jemand in der lage, mal nen blick auf meine crashlogs zu werfen?

das ist für mich nämlich chinesisch...

so...ich hab mal das crashlog am beispiel von QuickTime Player.
(ist nur stellvertretend...ich hätte auch ein anderes programm nehmen können)
